Natasha (Tash) Symons

Physiotherapist

Tash brings a wealth of experience from both private practice and hospital settings. Her passion for sports has led her to currently work as the team physiotherapist for the Hawks VNL Netball Club and the State 17U Victorian Netball team. Additionally, she has worked with the Western Bulldogs AFLW and Carlton VFL teams and contributed her expertise to the Victorian Men’s and Mixed Netball teams at their National Championships. Tash is also currently the Head Physiotherapist with Monash Villarreal FC – the Melbourne-based academy for the Spanish top division soccer team.

With a keen interest in treating a broad range of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, Natasha has pursued advanced studies in exercise rehabilitation for sports injuries and the GLA:D program for hip and knee osteoarthritis. Tash runs GLA:D and personalised small group exercise classes multiple times weekly.

Tash’s passion lies in helping people achieve their goals by adopting a holistic approach. She takes into account the full context of each individual, considering all factors that may contribute to their symptoms. By combining her extensive knowledge and experience, Tash provides tailored treatment plans that effectively alleviate pain and enhance recovery, ensuring clients return to their optimal function and performance.

Tash also has significant experience working with NDIS participants, with a particular focus on exercise-based therapy, including Pilates, to help with continued and improved participation and involvement.

Whilst Tash has extensive experience with a broad range of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries – she has a keen interest in both acute and chronic neck pain, ankle injuries and knee injuries throughout the life-span – osteoarthritis and degenerative conditions, as well as sporting injuries such as runner’s knee, ACL and meniscus injuries and patellar tendon concerns.
